Our History
1974
Our car repair garage was born in 1974 through the partneship of Gkikas Angelou and Giorgos Kontaratos and initially was located in Moschato, at Peloponnisou & Ag. Konstantinou str. From the beginning it was a specialized garage for the cars of VW Group, as it continues to this day.
1995
This year, the then-teenager Thanos Angelou, son of Gkika Angelou and current successor of the family business, starts working in the garage during the summer months when schools are closed. This experience in the garage gave birth to his big love for cars, which then led him to the decision to study to be a car mechanic.
2002
Thanos Angelou, after completing both his studies as a car mechanic and his military obligations, starts working in the auto repair shop as an engineer.
2010
2010 was a year of big changes, since both Gkikas Angelou and his partner retired. So, Thanos Angelou took on the responsibility of continuing the garage's tradition. In the same year, the garage was moved to Xenophontos Street in Kallithea, where it is still today.
In these 48 years of continuous operation, thousands of customers have trusted us, and from our side we continue to make them happy through our responsible and professional service.
The Team
THANOS ANGELOU
He stands out for his passion for cars, his great knowledge and experience in engineering, his meticulousness at work, and his cheerful character.
He is the chief engineer and owner of the car repair garage, in which he has worked continuously since 2002, while since 2010 he has taken over its management.
He studied automotive electrical engineering, while he has continuous training through educational seminars about the Volkswagen Group cars.
GIORGOS DIMITRAKOPOULOS
He stands out for his good-natured nature, his responsibility, and his great knowledge of cars.
He has been an automotive engineer for over 40 years and has extensive experience in finding solutions to engineering problems.
He has been working in our workshop since 2017.
